EuroHPC awards 500,000 node hours to TrustLLM

The TrustLLM project has secured 500,000 node hours on the EuroHPC Leonardo BOOSTER through the Extreme Scale Access Call. The awarded proposal, submitted as part of TrustLLM by Michael Fromm, Mehdi Ali and Fredrik Heintz, was one of 33 evaluated and stood out for its focus on developing an AI Act-compliant dataset for training large language models (LLMs) across all 24 European languages.
This achievement directly supports TrustLLM’s mission of creating open, trustworthy, and factual LLMs, initially targeting Germanic languages as a foundation for a broader European AI ecosystem.
The evaluation panel recognised the importance of regulatory compliance in AI and strongly encouraged the use of these resources to advance this critical aspect. This recognition reinforces TrustLLM’s role in shaping responsible and effective AI in Europe.
