  • 11:15 – 12:00: Panel discussion: “Challenges and opportunities in underrepresented language AI” (featuring keynote speakers, project leaders, as well as Þorvaldur Páll Helgason – Miðeind, Steinþór Steingrímsson – The Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies and Morris Riedel – Head of National Competence for HPC & AI).

Afternoon: Icelandic adventure

  • 12:00 – 13:00: Participants organise their own lunch.
  • 13:00 – 22:00: Bus leaves for day trip to Reykjadalur, hike and social dinner at Hótel Örk in Hveragerði. The bus will start to drive back to Reykjavík around 21:15.

Day 2: Thursday, 12 June 2025 – Deep dive into research and development

Day 3: Friday, 13 June 2025 – Charting the path forward
